Jet T Harper entered his eternal home on September 2nd 2021 at the age of 80, with all of his children by his side. Born on April 5th 1941 to Theodore and Viola Harper. Jet was born on the kitchen table at the family farm near a quaint little town in Delavan MN. He graduated from Delavan High School in 1959, and went on to enlist in the army where he was stationed in Frankfort Germany.
Jet met the first love of his life, Gisela Harper, whom he married on October 27th 1962. In 1963 Jet returned home from Germany where he and his family settled into the family farm to farm and raise 4 children. In 1980 they moved to Florida, where Jet became employed with the City of Casselberry, and retired after 22 years.
After 29 years of marriage Gisela went to her forever home on August 6th 1991.
After some time Jet was lucky enough to find and marry his second love. Phyllis Harper. Beginning a new life with Phyllis meant gaining 2 daughters and a son, while Phyllis gained 1 son and 3 daughters.
After 21 years of marriage Phyllis went to her forever home on August 11th 2021.
It is the family’s belief that their Dad although battling his own health issues, passed due to a broken heart. Jet is now in his forever home where he is reunited with Gisela, Phyllis, his grandson David, his son Dwight, and his parents. The newest angel is watching down on everyone as he sings, dances, and praises the lord.
Jet T Harper is preceded in death by his first wife Gisela harper, his second wife Phyllis Harper, his grandson David Franks, his son Dwight Cearley, his sisters Phyllis Abbas and MaryJo Dunagan, and his parents Theodore and Viola Harper.
Jet T Harper is survived by his children, Denise Harper, Louissette Williams, Ted Harper, Heidy Franks, Amy Cearley, and Maryann Howell, his 13 grandchildren, and his sister Barb Carlson.
The service will be held on September 18th 2021 at 10:00 Am. The service will be an hour long followed by a graveside service.
