It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Eleanor Crawley Myers, after her passing on Saturday April 11th, 2020 at the age of 89. She was the daughter of Stan & Freda Crawley, and married to Jerry Myers on April 21st, 1951, her husband of nearly 50 years.
She is remembered by her sister Elaine Karasch, her daughter Kristi (David) Hurd, and her son Scott (Loretta) Myers, her grandchildren Steve (Jaclyn) Hurd, and Katie (Joe) Scidurlo, and her great grand-children Samuel, Isaiah, and Elijah Hurd. Also nieces & nephews, great-nieces & nephews, and many friends.
Eleanor spent most of her working life at the Air Force finance center in Denver, and in the local Hazeltine elementary school. She was dedicated to her family, helped build her own home, and was a collector of many things. She also loved to travel and was lucky enough to visit many places, but her heart never really left Colorado. She learned to love country-living when she married and moved to the family farm where she raised her own kids.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a foundation in her name for either of Cancer, Arthritis, Alzheimer’s, or American Lung Association.
