Franklin was born August 24, 1925 in Stillwater, MN and passed away peacefully of natural causes on October 21, 2020 in Mountlake Terrace, WA. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marjorie in 2006.
Franklin joined the US Navy in 1945 where he was an electronic technician. After the war and discharge from the Navy, Franklin attended the University of Washington, studying engineering. He and Marjorie raised their 3 children, Linda, Frank and Dayne in Lake Forest Park, WA.
In 1958, Franklin started his machinist business, Precision Automatics. His sons Frank and Dayne worked along side their dad until he retired at the age of 89 in 2013.
Franklin and Marjorie loved the outdoors and loved to camp and fish with their children. Fishing was a great passion, many trips were made to Blue Lake and Ilwaco, WA. He also had a particular interest in tractors and tractor shows. He almost always looked on the bright side of life and had a great sense of humor. He lived a great life and has left a lasting legacy of integrity and love for all of us to follow.
Franklin is survived by his 3 children, Linda (John) Opstad, Frank C. Williver, Dayne (Sue) Williver, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
Due to the current pandemic, Private Graveside Services will be held.
