Frank Scardillo, 69, of Toms River, NJ passed away at Riverview Medical Center on Friday, January 3, 2020, with many loving family members at his side. He was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Irvington, NJ, before moving to Toms River 31 years ago.
Frank was currently employed by NJ Natural Gas Company in Wall, NJ as Manager of Fleet Operations. Prior to that he worked for National Health Laboratory/Lab. Corp. in Raritan, NJ. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Frank was a true sports enthusiast and was a die-hard Giants and Yankee fan.
His wife and son were his whole world! Frank’s generous and caring heart, optimistic outlook and hard work and devotion to his family are a true testament of his legacy that will live in the hearts and minds of all who loved him – forever and ever.
Frank leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Nancy, of thirty years, his son Joseph, sisters Sharon, Fran and Carol, many nieces, nephews, brother and sisters-in laws and friends who loved him dearly. He was predeceased by his parents Philip and Dorothy Scardillo and his sister Jane Marie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Justin the Martyr Church, 975 Fischer Blvd., Toms River. A Committal service will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River.
