Frederick Herbert Fogleman, 79, passed away October 13, 2020, peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Cookie) who shared 57 years of wedded bliss and his 6 children: Dawn, Denise, Fred, Ray, Doreen, and Mike. He is also survived by nine grandchildren: Matthew, Tyler, Victoria, John, Freddy, Stephanie, James, Casandra, and Mike; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, he was the son of Janie Mae Alton and Talmadge Henry Fogleman. He was employed as a set-up man and then ultimately foreman for over 40 years at William Steinen Mfg Co located in Parsippany, New Jersey.
In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to his old music on his CD player – he was a wild enthusiast of Elvis Presley. He also enjoyed watching car racing, old westerns, and Family Feud as well as building model cars. Dad also enjoyed nature where he would study the sky and say the clouds looked like popcorn.
He is predeceased by his brother, Talmadge (Henny) and his five sisters: Inez, Mae, Ruth, Kay, and Margie.
In lieu of a funeral service, there will be a Celebration of Life at his home with family and friends. And in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you make a donation to the Heart Disease Foundation.
