On November 13, 2020, Judy Ann (born Johnson) Rabne passed from this world into glory at the age of 75. Judy was born on December 22, 1944 in Akron, OH to Willard and Marie Johnson. Judy married Robert Rabne in 1967, who preceded her in death in 1996. They raised two sons, Michael (deceased) and Mark. Judy is survived by her brothers Dallas Johnson and John Johnson; her sister Jeanne Repp; her son Mark and daughter-in-law Teresa; daughter-in-law Jill; and grandchildren Luke, Lydia, and Joy.
Judy surrendered her life to Jesus Christ at a revival in Indianapolis, Indiana in the mid 1960s. She tried to live her life faithful to Christ and to share His love with people everywhere.
Judy had a lifelong passion for music, majoring in Music Education at Heidelberg College. For nearly 50 years, Judy operated a music studio in her home and taught hundreds of students how to play the piano.
Judy was also a lover of dogs and she fostered 57 golden retrievers through Golden Retrievers In Need (GRIN).
As a ministry, Judy was involved with teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to students and workers from around the world who were in the Akron or Cleveland areas.
Judy fought a nearly five year battle with ovarian cancer, always depending on The Lord in her most difficult hours.
A Memorial Service will be held at Grace Christian & Missionary Alliance Church in Middleburg Heights at 7393 Pearl Road at 2pm on November 21st. The memorial service will also be live-streamed at http://live.gracecma.org for anyone who would like to attend remotely.
