  • Gene M Pike


    Gene is a 2nd-generation funeral director and embalmer and has been affiliated with Chattanooga Funeral Home since the 1950s, serving as president and florist from 1974. Gene attended the University of Chattanooga, obtained an associate's degree in education at a junior college in Nashville, and is a graduate of John A. Gupton Mortuary College. A 1959 licensed funeral director and embalmer in the states of Tennessee and Georgia, he oversees 4 funeral homes, 2 cemeteries, a florist and the Chattanooga Care Center.

    Gene is a member of the Chairman's Council since 1985 and has served as a longtime chairman of the board for John A. Gupton Mortuary College. Serving in various organizations in Chattanooga through the years, Gene is the past president and board member of the Walter B. Boehm Birth Defect Center, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Chattanooga, Contact of Chattanooga Telephone Ministry and the Half Century Club of Chattanooga. He currently serves as the vice president of awards for the Freedom Foundation of Valley Forge-Chattanooga Chapter, a half-century member and past president of the Civitan Club and a lifetime honorary member of the Chattanooga Chapter Vietnam Veterans. In 2002, Gene received the East Brainerd Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Service Award. He serves as a deacon and was the past finance chairman and president of the Friendship Sunday School Class at Ridgedale Baptist Church, where he and his wife attend church.

    Married since 1959, Gene and his wife have a son, a daughter-in-law and a granddaughter.

  • Stephen E Pike

    Vice President

    Stephen Pike is a 3rd-generation funeral director and has been associated with Chattanooga Funeral Home since the early 1990s. He is a graduate of the McCallie School and the University of the South at Sewanee.

    Stephen is a deacon at Silverdale Baptist Church and currently serves on the board of directors of Volunteers in Medicine, Junior Achievement of Chattanooga and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He is a past president of Hamilton Place Rotary Club, former chairman of Volunteers in Medicine, past president of Brainerd East Hamilton County Chamber of Commerce, former vice-chairman of Bethel Bible Village and former chairman of the deacons at Silverdale Baptist Church.

    Stephen has been married to his wife for since the 1990s and they have 1 daughter.

  • Robert K Schrader


    Since the 1990s Robert Schrader has served the Chattanooga area by providing comfort to families during difficult times of loss. Robert is a licensed funeral director for the state of Tennessee and currently serves his community as a location manager. In addition, his passion for mentoring young people makes him a successful certified Escape School Facilitator for the Tri-State area. When Robert is not serving families, he enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family.

    A member of the funeral industry since 1994, Tom Wilson Jr. takes pride in serving families with compassion and care. He earned his Funeral Director License in 2002 and has worked at several funeral homes in the Chattanooga area, joining our team because of our commitment to quality care. He is a member of the Tennessee Funeral Directors Association, Daisy Masonic Lodge #706 F&AM, and Alhambra Shrine. He enjoys spending time with his wife, 3 sons, and 3 grandchildren.
