Tim was born in Vancouver and began his career as a pastor, serving at churches in both Canada and the Western United States for more than 25 years. In the mid-1990s, he became interested in the funeral industry and became a funeral director/embalmer in 1998. His first years in the funeral business were at Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel. He then moved to Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home. Tim and his family have always loved the Chilliwack area; they moved here in 2001, when Tim became manager of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home. Tim’s wife, Karen, works in the funeral home office.
Working and living in Chilliwack has given Tim the opportunity to connect with the community. He is a member of Chilliwack Fraser Rotary, the Chamber of Commerce, the Chilliwack Ministerial, Grief Share and Chilliwack Community Services. He is involved with local churches and church ministries. Together he and Karen volunteer for various speaking and musical engagements. They enjoy spending time with their children, grandchildren and extended family.
