John also volunteers with his daughter’s cheer team and works the gate for home football games. As a lifelong resident of Danbury, and an additional 35-plus year career with Danbury Fire Department as the assistant chief, he has very strong ties with the community.     Alfredo J. Albuquerque has served families in the Danbury area since 2016 and has been in the funeral industry for a number of years. AJ earned his degree in mortuary science at the Lincoln College of New England in Southington, Connecticut, and is looking forward to continuing his education over the years.     Robert was raised and educated in the Greater Waterbury Area, and attended the University of Connecticut and Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts, where he received his degree in mortuary science. He began his career in funeral service in June 1994 and has since been a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Danbury.

    Previously residing in Bethel, Robert has been a resident of Danbury since 1999. He is a parishioner of Saint Mary Church Bethel and attends Saint John Church in Old Saybrook during the summer months. He is a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, John A. Gildea Division, Danbury, where he enjoys the company of many friends he has met through the years.

    Robert has an interest in travel, antique and collector cars, golf and spending free time with his family at their summer cottage in the Knollwood Beach section of Old Saybrook .
