Forest Hills/Shalom Memorial Park has provided cemetery services for families in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, and surrounding communities for more than a century. Non-denominational Forest Hills provides a comforting environment with lush landscaping, gentle slopes, sweeping hills and mature evergreen and oak trees. Shalom Memorial Park caters to members of the Jewish faith. The cemetery has 5 mausoleums, a Holocaust memorial and a monument for Babi Yar.

To better serve the Huntingdon Valley community, Lamb Funeral Home was built on the grounds of Forest Hills/Shalom Memorial Park in 1996. The funeral home was recently renovated and is dedicated to celebrating every person’s life with dignity and respect. .

Forest Hills/Shalom Memorial Park The Huntington Valley area is becoming increasingly diverse, and Forest Hill/Shalom Memorial Park is a multicultural cemetery that serves families of all cultures, backgrounds and faiths. Our team members are well-versed in a wide variety of burial traditions and rites and speak Vietnamese, Russian and Hebrew. Although anyone can be buried at Forest Hills, we have gardens especially for those of the Christian faith. Forest Hills also features sections for Asian, Muslim, Catholic and Indian families.

Shalom Memorial Park is dedicated to members of the Jewish faith and specializes in providing burial services according to Jewish tradition. We understand how important it is to provide a prompt burial after the loss of a loved one, and we promise to be there for you in your time of need.

Lamb Funeral Home offers convenience

Unique features at Forest Hills/Shalom Memorial Park In 1996, Lamb Funeral Home opened on the grounds of Forest Hills/Shalom Memorial Park. The 12,000-square-foot facility was renovated in 2016 has 2 traditional chapels. Tastefully decorated with modern and traditional decor, the larger chapel seats 80 guests; the smaller chapel seats up to 40. In addition, the funeral home has a children’s playroom and a kitchenette for coffee and tea.

Whether you need an intimate gathering or a large funeral service, the funeral home chapels can be customized to reflect the passions of the loved one being remembered. The team at Lamb Funeral Home believes that every life should be celebrated and incorporates traditions, hobbies, themes and more to create unique funeral and memorial services.
