Patrick McGilley is a licensed funeral director in both Missouri and Kansas. A fourth generation funeral director, he has been in the funeral industry since 2000 and worked his entire career with our family of funeral homes. Patrick is a Paul Harris Fellow and currently sits on the boards of SAFE Kansas City Crime Commission and MADD.
Patrick is happily married and a proud father of 5 children. Patrick enjoys hunting, golf and spending time with his family. A Kansas City native and graduate of the University of Missouri, Patrick is an avid fan of the Tigers, Royals and Chiefs.
Kirk A Kinsinger
A past officer of the Kansas Funeral Directors Association, Kirk decided to enter funeral service while he was a freshman in high school. He began working in a funeral home his senior year. After graduation, Kirk attended Kansas City, Kansas Community College, where he earned a degree in mortuary science and served as treasurer in Sigma Phi Sigma, the fraternity for mortuary students. More than 30 years later, Kirk is still committed to caring for families during one of the most difficult times in their lives.
Kirk has been married for 22 years and is a proud father of twin sons. He is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time with his family.
Jeffrey M Swezy
Deliver what you promise and promise only what you can deliver. Think and act like an owner of the company. These 2 principles guide Jeff daily over his 40 years serving families in the funeral industry. Jeff has earned both a mortuary science degree and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, while continuously upgrading his skills to stay current with service and family trends. Since losing his mother and receiving a cancer diagnosis, Jeff has a deeper connection with the families he serves than ever before.
At the center of his life are his church and family. Jeff is married and has 2 grown daughters. During his free time, Jeff enjoys weight training, traveling and hunting.
Pat Ann Traffas
Patricia grew up on a farm in Cheyenne County, Kansas. After graduating from Fort Hays State University with a degree in general science, Pat became a registered cytotechnologist with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. For several years she worked alongside her husband, who was a veterinarian in north-central Kansas.
In 1999 Pat graduated with a degree in mortuary science from Kansas City Community College. Since then she has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the states of Kansas and Missouri. She has been privileged to build long-lasting relationships with families she has served.
Pat serves on the legislative committee of the Kansas Funeral Directors Association. She was appointed to the International Conference for Funeral Service Examining Boards in 2006 and continues to serve in numerous capacities.
In her free time Pat enjoys her 2 grandchildren and doing preservation and research along all of the national historic trails. She values the many friends gained throughout the years and anticipates continuing the highest level of funeral service to the Kansas City area.
Mark S Mcgilley
Mark McGilley is a 4th-generation funeral director born, raised and still living in Kansas City. He graduated from Rockhurst High School and with honors from the University of Missouri, earning a Bachelor of Arts in political science. He is also a graduate of the National Foundation of Funeral Service. After college Mr. McGilley joined his family’s business as a funeral director and has participated in its growth to 8 locations in the Kansas City area, serving over 1,000 families annually.
A graduate of the Kansas City FBI Citizens Academy, Mr. McGilley has been active in many community, fraternal and civic organizations, including Kiwanis, Rotary and the Serra Club. He is past president of the Phi Delta Theta Alumni Club and served on the board of advisors at St. Joseph Hospital and Rockhurst University. He also served on the board of directors for the Kansas City Better Business Bureau.
Mr. McGilley has been married since the early 1970s to his college sweetheart. They have 3 children, 13 grandchildren and suffered the loss of their eldest son to a drunk driver in January 2000.
Mr. McGilley’s personal interests include sports, hunting, golf, celebrating his Irish heritage and traveling with his wife and children.
