We're privileged to serve multiple generations, and take great care in preserving the rites and traditions established when DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary began. We've also established strong ties with the Protestant community, and we continue to nurture and cherish the relationships we've formed with those families. We are always honored when any family returns to us, because that often means we helped create a treasured memory of a previous family member.

Community involvement

At DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary, maintaining strong connections with the Wichita community is a priority. Our associates are involved in many local organizations, including the Wichita Downtown Lions Club and Wichita Heart Association. We also volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House Charities Wichita by serving meals to families whose children are undergoing medical treatment in Wichita.

Additionally, we host our annual candlelight service of remembrance each December. This event is open to all families who have experienced the loss of a loved one within the past year, creating a supportive space for fellowship and reflection. All families receive a complimentary memorial candle for the service as well.
