Personable and memorable funeral services
We know losing a loved one is hard, and we're here to guide you through planning a funeral or memorial every step of the way. Our goal with every service is to leave an indelible mark of a life well lived. Our commitment is to bring your vision or your loved one's final wishes to reality.
We offer everything from a traditional funeral service at a church, graveside or elsewhere, to a no-holds-barred celebration of life, complete with live music, catering and a heart-warming send-off that reflects the passions of yourself or your loved one.
From finding just the right decor to ordering personalized mementos, we go the extra mile to capture the unique essence of every individual.

Founder A.M. “Sandy” Brown established Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre in 1938. He ran the business until his retirement in 1966, when he turned it over to his daughter, Heather, and son-in-law, Paul Kitt.
In 1983, Paul and Heather retired and moved to Sioux Narrows after selling the funeral home. In 2006, Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre became a member of the Dignity Memorial network. Today, we serve an area of 12,000 square miles, providing funeral, burial and cremation services to approximately 25,000 residents.
