We provide the goods and services families today look for—whether it's traditional burial, mausoleum entombment or cremation memorialization. Level bronze memorials allow us to maintain a tranquil, park-like appearance throughout the majority of the cemetery property. Areas for upright granite monuments, cremation benches, columbarium estates and private estates allow you to design a unique feature that accommodates your family's wishes.

WHV 2020 - Level 3We honor veterans

At Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, we understand the unique needs of America’s veterans and their families. As a Level Three Founding Community Partner with We Honor Veterans, our staff is knowledgeable in the benefits available to veterans and their families. With respect, integrity and dignity, we will walk you through the steps of creating a veteran's memorial service that truly honors the life and sacrifice of your loved one.

To honor the brave men and women who have served our country, we maintain 2 sections dedicated to veterans: The Garden of Time and Veterans Memorial Garden. An eagle monument commemorating veterans of all branches proudly stands in the Veterans Memorial Garden and a memorial bench sits in the Garden of Time.

History

Valley Forge Memorial GardensHistorical Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, was established in 1915 on farmland that dates back to the late 1600s. John Roberts, a Welshman, arrived in the King of Prussia area in 1682 and operated a farm and grist mill, part of which is now the site of Valley Forge Memorial Gardens. John Roberts married Elizabeth Owen, and together they had 3 children.

Founded in 1915

Several years later, the farm, which was previously known as Swamp Vrass Farm, was decreased and acreage was sold. In 1912, Judson Kerr purchased the 168-acre property and sold 81 acres to Valley Forge Cemetery Association in 1915.
