Matthew H. Burg, born and raised in Red Lion, Pennsylvania, was a champion wrestler before he made funeral service his life’s work—winning the Mid Atlantic Junior Olympic Championships at 80 pounds in 1978 and the Eastern National Championships in both Freestyle and Greco Roman at 95 pounds in 1980. A fourth generation funeral director, he graduated from Catonsville Community College. Matthew enjoys serving families and helping them through the most difficult times of their lives. He is married to his sweetheart, Heidi Doerfler Burg, and has two beautiful daughters, Gwen and Riley. Matthew enjoys hunting, fishing and mountain biking.
Alfred B Clauser
Alfred Clauser, the main funeral director and supervisor of Clauser Funeral Home, also serves as a primary director for Rohland Funeral Home. He has two sons and two grandchildren. He is a graduate of Cincinnati Mortuary School and has been a funeral director since 1984. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and seeing his grandchildren as much as possible.
Peter N Pyles Jr.
Peter Pyles, was born and raised in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania and has served as the location manager of both Rohland Funeral Home and Clauser Funeral Home since 1996. He has been married to his wife, Heidi, for more than 30 years and is the father of Alexandra, who is a first-grade teacher in Hawaii and Mark, who is captain of the football team at Bucknell University. Peter and his wife like to play golf and enjoy trying new foods.
