Jack graduated with honors from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in August 1978 with a degree in mortuary science. He has been a licensed funeral director since 1977 and a licensed embalmer since 1979. He served families in the St. Louis, Missouri, area for most of his career, but having grown weary of the Mid-West winters, he made the decision to move to the Phoenix, Arizona, area in 2009.
