  • Arlene Priscilla Brokaw

    Funeral Director

After the death of her mother, Arlene felt called to enter into funeral service. Having lost several family members of her own, she understands how important it is to be able to comfort others while drawing out fond memories and stories from family members. Serving others and truly caring for families while letting them know how important it is to honor their loved one is of utmost importance. Once a family tells me that their service is exactly what their loved one would have wanted and we truly captured their life through personalization reassures me I am exactly in the field I am meant to be in. When a family pre-plans, there is never any doubt that they are truly carrying out their loved ones wants and desires and honoring their wishes.

Maurice served as location manager both in Charlotte and Monroe for many years, giving up the day-to-day operations in early 2017 to become president/consultant of McEwen. Maurice is very active in Benton Heights Presbyterian Church in Monroe, local civic clubs and in his community, the Village of Lake Park, North Carolina. In his spare time, Maurice enjoys working in his yard and spending time with his wife, Rayvone.
