Roger W Rose
“My goal has always been to be a caring Funeral Director meeting the needs of the family faced with the loss of a loved one. I have been able to accomplish this by treating each family as if they were part of my family.” In 1973, Roger began working at Brockett Funeral Home in Southampton, NY when he was only a junior in high school. Roger earned his degree in mortuary science at Canton University and continued to provide peace and comfort to families in the New York area for more than four decades. After raising two children, Roger decided it was time to head south after both children married. Roger continued his education in the south where he became a licensed funeral director in the state of Georgia and then in South Carolina where he became a licensed insurance agent and had the opportunity to serve families with their pre-planning needs. Roger became a full-time Funeral Director at Carolina Memorial in 2016 where he continues to serve families today. In his spare time, Roger enjoys sailing, golfing, and motorcycle riding. Upon retiring, Roger plans on spending his summers in Long Island, NY while enjoying the rest of the year in beautiful Charleston, SC.
