Dean Gemmiti has been with Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre since the mid 1980s and has been a manager since 2001. He has seen the company evolve from an independent family funeral home into a Dignity Memorial® provider.
When he’s not working, Dean enjoys trying to be an outdoorsman by camping, hunting, fishing, practicing archery and playing golf. Dean is a member of the Peterborough Sales and Advertising Club, Peterborough Chamber of Commerce, the Knights of Columbus and St. Anne’s Catholic Church.
Born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario, Dean has been married to his wife Susan since 1990 and they have 2 children.
Terry Donoghue was born and raised in Peterborough’s East City. Terry has been serving Peterborough families in all aspects of the funeral industry since 2011, including working on behalf of the coroner’s office, transfer services, estate cleaning and funeral directing.
Terry enjoys spending time with family and friends and is an avid golfer, soccer player and hockey player. Terry has worked at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre since 2007.
Kate Louisa Dunford
Kate Dunford was born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario. Prior to joining Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre in 2010, Kate worked as a funeral director in Sudbury, Ontario.
Kate received a bachelor’s degree in social sciences from McMaster University, with a focus on religious studies and her diploma in funeral service education (in French) from Collège Boréal.
A dog enthusiast, Kate enjoys spending her free time knitting, crafting, reading, canoeing at the family cottage and visiting with her nieces and nephew.
Born in Kingston, Ontario, Sherry Gilroy has spent most of her life in Peterborough. After 8 years as an elementary school teacher, she embarked on a new career in 1999 as a funeral director. After graduating from Humber College, she came to work at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, where she remains today.
She serves as a director for the Kiwanis Club of Peterborough, chairperson of the Peterborough Kiwanis Music Festival and volunteer coordinator for the Salvation Army Christmas Hamper Delivery.
Sherry is married and happily spends her time between their home in Peterborough and their cottage.
Born and educated in Peterborough, Ontario, Ronald Kaye graduated from Humber College of Funeral Service in 1970. Ron has many decades of experience in funeral service at Kaye Funeral Home, now Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, and he’s proud to be a funeral director helping families in the Peterborough community.
Ron is a member of several Peterborough organizations, including: Kinsmen Club of Peterborough, Peterborough Men's Social Club and Corinthian Masonic Lodge No. 101. Ron is past president of the Kinsmen Club, past national secretary of the Kinsmen Association and past president of the Bay of Quinte Funeral Service Association.
In his spare time Ron cheers for his favorite hockey team, the Peterborough Petes.
