Available estate area at Memory Hill Gardens. Memory Chapel Funeral Home sits adjacent to Memory Hill Gardens at 2200 Skyland Boulevard East. Situated on 50 beautifully landscaped acres that feature seasonal flowers and mature trees, Memory Hill Gardens provides a tranquil place to honor the memory of your loved ones. By having sister locations within walking distance of one another, we provide you with the convenience of simplifying the process, allowing you to focus on healing and spending time with loved ones.

History

Memory Chapel Funeral Home and Memory Hill Gardens have over 50 years of dedicated and compassionate service to Tuscaloosa families.

Walton and Biggs

In 1957, C.L. Walton began development of Memory Hill Gardens on 50 acres of land on what was then called the US 11 Bypass. Walton continued to develop the cemetery in Tuscaloosa until his death in 1959. Max Biggs then continued to expand and develop our perpetual-care cemetery in Tuscaloosa. With foresight that was unheard of in that day and keeping our families in mind, Biggs built Memory Chapel Funeral Home in 1966.
