    Daniel Robin Ariss


    Daniel began his career in funeral service in Alberta on January 2, 1988 and has been serving with Dignity Memorial® since 2009. Having served in all aspects of funeral service, his greatest joy is helping a family walk through the process of planning and carrying out a beautiful tribute for a special loved one.

    Daniel is involved in his church where he sings in the choir and has served on the council. He also enjoys being on stage with the Fraser Valley Gilbert and Sullivan Society.

    Robert Leier

    General Manager

    Robert Leier began his funeral service career in the 1990s on the prairies. Since joining the Dignity Memorial® family in 1997, Bob has had many roles, but his true passion is serving families and the communities of the greater Vancouver area, which he has been doing since 2000.

    Bob enjoys sharing with the many ethnic communities throughout British Columbia, including our First Nations Bands. Bob is a proud supporter of the Dr. Peter Centre, A Loving Spoonful, JDRF and many end-of-life care facilities in the Lower Mainland.

    When he is not at work, Bob and his partner spoil their 3 dogs. He also enjoys gardening, hockey, soccer, golf and cooking.

    Ting Li


    Ting Li, known by most as Laura, has provided compassionate funeral care to families since 2011. She began as a funeral planning specialist, then as a licensed funeral director. Laura is passionate in giving her best to families and guiding them during the loss of a loved one.

    Born in Guangdong, China, Laura loves to spend time with her dog and volunteers at the community center in her spare time.

    Marlene Armstrong

    Funeral Director

    Marlene has been a funeral director and embalmer since 1996. She graduated from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services in 1995 with a degree in mortuary sciences. Marlene has served the families in the Vancouver area and the North Shore since 1996 with the utmost professionalism and compassion. If she is not at the funeral home, you can likely find Marlene enjoying crafts such as sewing and crocheting or, above all, volunteering in the community.

    Johanna Jackson-Farley

    Funeral Director

    Johanna began her career in funeral service while a high school student in Toronto, Ontario. During this time, she realized she had found her career calling. She graduated from the Funeral Service Education Program at Humber College and received her funeral director’s license in 1994. Having moved to British Columbia in 1997, she has had the privilege of serving families of different cultures, religions and backgrounds over the years. Johanna says: "It truly has been an honour to meet and assist so many people in their time of need. I have learned so much from all the different experiences I have shared with so many."

    Richard Warner Koiter

    Funeral Director

    Richard Koiter has provided professional service to families in Victoria, Vancouver and the surrounding area since 1997. He moved from Toronto to British Columbia and hasn’t looked back since. He happily calls Vancouver home.

    A graduate of the Humber College Funeral Services Program in Toronto in 1991, he has vast experience in all aspects of being a funeral director and an embalmer.

    Richard enjoys travelling the planet, gardening, interior design and architecture. Richard also enjoys spending quality time with his family, friends and his kitty, Princess.
