Personalized memorials and celebrations of life

Table setting with floral centerpiece and floral heart wreath in the background. At Victor Valley Memorial Park & Mortuary, we believe that every service should be as unique as the life lived. We capture the essence of your loved one to create an event that honors your special person and gives friends and family a chance to come together and remember.

Perhaps it’s a barbecue in honor of the pit master, complete with live music and bottles of homemade sauce for guests to take home. Maybe it's a garden-themed party for a beloved green thumb. Or perhaps it's a quiet outdoor scattering ceremony with the closest family and friends. No matter your wish, no matter the detail, we handle it all.

Whether you want to arrange a traditional funeral service or modern celebration of life, large gathering or more intimate service, we will work with you one-on-one to ensure your needs and budget are met. From floral arrangements to music selections, decor, mementos and more, we guide you through your choices with care.

Victor Valley Memorial Park & Mortuary also accommodates overnight visitations and in-home visitations. Just let your funeral director know what you'd like.

Cremation in the High Desert

Brass urn with engraved flowers sitting on shelf next to flowers and framed pictures at Pacific ViewWe specialize in cremation services that honor loved ones in personalized ways, and families love our transparent pricing. With expertise in scattering ashes, the option for an attended cremation and a friendly team who pays attention to every detail, we provide service that is second to none.

More and more people are choosing cremation over traditional burial, but most aren’t familiar with all the choices:

  • a cremation without a funeral or memorial service of any kind.
  • a funeral with your loved one present, followed by cremation.
  • a cremation followed by a scattering, cemetery memorialization or celebration of life—or all three.

There are many cremation providers from which to choose. Here's what you can expect when you choose us for your loved one's cremation:

  • Custody of care guaranteed. Our custody-of-care program helps safeguard the identification of your loved one from the time we bring them into our care until the time we return them to your family. We check, cross-check and check again, every step of the way.
  • Exclusive custody of your loved one. We use only crematories owned and operated by Dignity Memorial® providers or trusted partners. Once your loved one is in our custody or that of a trusted partner, they’re in our care until they’re returned to your family.
  • Licensed, certified, conscientious staff. All Dignity Memorial crematory operators in California are licensed and certified by Cremation Association of North America, or CANA. Only one person at a time is cremated, and the cremation chamber is thoroughly cleaned before the next person is cremated.

Victor Valley Memorial Park

Cemetery grounds at Victor Valley Memorial Park & MortuarySpanish Mission-style architecture, green lawns, mature trees, desert plants and views of the San Bernardino Mountains are the hallmarks of Victor Valley Memorial Park.

Families from across the High Desert area choose Victor Valley Memorial Park for its sun-drenched vistas and wide range of options for burial and cremation. The cemetery is replete with natural beauty and opportunities for inspired reflection. It includes sections for those of the Catholic faith, as well as a veterans section for those who have served our country. Cremation property includes a scattering garden and cremation niches.

The funeral home on the property opened in 1988, but the cemetery has been part of this community since the early 1900s. It was, in fact, Victorville's second cemetery.

The first was a burial site off Hesperia Road, below the hospital and just south of where Victor Valley Memorial Park & Mortuary sits today. In 1917, eight graves were moved from Hesperia Road to establish Victor Valley Memorial Park at what is now 11th Street. A cemetery of historical significance, Victor Valley Memorial Park is the final resting place for many Apple Valley pioneers, and prominent local families have been laid to rest on our grounds.

Veterans funerals and burials

We deeply appreciate those who have sacrificed for our freedoms and feel privileged to honor veterans and their families in need of funeral, cremation and burial services. We also help coordinate government benefits and offer special pricing on veterans services and cemetery property.
