Funeraria del Angel West Covina is a state-of-the-art funeral home in the San Gabriel Valley. Established in September 1997, we have provided mortuary service for families in West Covina, El Monte, Temple City and Arcadia for more than two decades. Our funeral chapels

Funeraria del Angel West Covina is a welcoming funeral home for you and your family. We have a reception area that accommodates about 30 people. If you choose to hold a reception after a service, our caterer can create a personalized menu that your guests will enjoy.

We have two chapels for funerals and memorial services. Both are non-denominational spaces, and no matter your faith or cultural background, either chapel can be decorated and adjusted to make you comfortable. Both chapels are also wheelchair accessible. The smaller chapel has flexible seating. The larger chapel seats up to 150 guests in pews. For larger ceremonies, we provide overflow seating in our lobby.

We incorporate Mexican funeral traditions when appropriate. One example: At Funeraria del Angel West Covina, you can have a visitation that goes overnight, a practice that’s common in Mexico and allows people with any work schedule to pay their respects.

We also offer in-home visitations for families who want friends and loved ones to gather at their homes. Though you are certainly able to have your visitation at our funeral home, this is a nice alternative for those who would feel more comfortable greeting people in their own space.

For those with roots in other countries, please know that our staff can care for, prepare and transfer earthly remains to different countries, including Mexico and the Philippine Islands.

Personalized funerals and military services

The staff at Funeraria del Angel West Covina is here to create a funeral or memorial service that fits each life. Though we’re very experienced at traditional funerals, we love creating a service that deeply reflect each personality.

For customized funerals, we speak with the family to get an understanding of the loved one—personal passions, favorite foods, individual style and so on. Then we take what we learn and find creative ways to include those things into the funeral service. Think a sports-themed reception, a live-music tribute or an art display.

We also regularly conduct military funerals. For veterans, we coordinate with local VFW and The American Legion chapters to conduct proper military services. We’re proud to participate in the Homeless Veteran Burial Program, in which Funeraria del Angel West Covina covers the costs of the funeral and burial for a homeless veteran. It’s a small token of our appreciation for those who have served in the U.S. armed forces.
