Our deepest condolences to Mr Koop’s family from the Seth family.  My brothers Vijay ‘73, Pradip ‘75 and I ‘84 all spent time with Mr Koop.  He was my guidance counselor after graduating we had family issues and he helped me get a job and was a support until I was able to go off to college a year later.  His caring nature impacted my life more than I can share. My sincere gratitude and will never forget.  Until we meet again Koop San .

Mr. Koop found his true calling as Guidance Counselor at Canadian Academy.  He helped students, including me, set goals and realize dreams.  A wonderful man who will be remembered fondly.

Very sorry to hear this news, but happy that Abe Koop’s legacy will live on through the many students his kindness and desire to see his student achieve success. He touched the lives of so many people! 
He was my Guidance Counselor at Canadian Academy in Japan.  He helped me meet with military attaches in Tokyo as I desired to serve.  He allowed me to skip a few days of school to work on my dream and I am thankful for that opportunity which led to a 30 year career in the Navy

He was "Uncle Abe" to me and all the other kids in our mission in Japan. He was always so kind. I got to enjoy him as a teacher and college guidance counsellor at Canadian Academy. He was one of those people that made CA a special time and place. Thanks for all of the wonderful memories!

Abe was the guidance counselor at my high school in Japan. If it hadn’t been for his guidance during a very hard time in my life, not sure where I would be today.
I truly wonderful man.
He is/was loved and respected.
If only more were like him!

We met Abram only a couple of years ago. What a wonderful gentleman.  Kind and very thoughtful.
Full of stories about he and his wife's many travels and their working lives in Japan.   Their home really shone with all the many treasures they collected from  around the world.
We will always remember him with fond memories.
