Alec and Jenny immigrated to Canada in 1952 to realize his dream of dairy farming, unattainable in post-war Holland. Their dream became reality, filled with faith, and endless hours of hard work & determination.
They raised seven children, while farming in Matsqui & Sumas Prairie, and being involved in their community and church.
Retirement blessed them with travel & friendships forged at the fishing holes and in Palm Springs. The last years of declining health were spent in the loving care of Maplewood House.
