It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Alice Topnik. Survived by her sons Bernard (Gail) and Aaron (Joanne), Grandchildren Will, Joshua, Sean, Matthew, Laurn, and 5 Great Grandchildren, Brother Gorden (Elaine) and Sister Emily and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Harvey, parents Daniel and Amanda, and brothers Art, David, Roy, John, Clifford, and Martin.
Alice was born in Bayton, Manitoba and spent her childhood growing up on the family farm in Moosehorn, Manitoba. She married her husband of 66 years, Harvey, on July 7th,1956, and started their family together in Winnipeg,Manitoba. They moved to Surrey, B.C. in the summer of 1967. With stops in Langley and Penticton B.C., they finally settled down in Abbotsford B.C.
Alice loved all children, especially her grandchildren, whom she would spend as much time with as possible. She also enjoyed spending time gardening and singing in the church choir.
A graveside/burial Service is scheduled for Thursday September 03, 2026 @ 10:00am @ Hazelwood Cemetery – 34070 Hazelwood Ave, Abbotsford followed by a memorial service @ Trinity Lutheran Church – 3845 Gladwin Rd.,Abbotsford @ 11:30am conducted by Pastor Henock Teklemariam.
