

Baljinder (Ziddi) Chatchot, of Abbotsford, BC passed away at the age of 12 on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Canucks Place Children's Hospice located in Vancouver, BC after a 10 month long struggle against cancer - Burkitt's Lymphoma.
Ziddi was born in Abbotsford, BC at MSA General Hospital on Nov. 16, 1997 and moved to White Rock a month later in December 1997. Ziddi was an amazing young boy who showered everyone with love, laughter and unbelievable energy. Ziddi inspired everyone with his exceptional amount of courage and confidence throughout his life.
Ziddi's favourite colors were blue and red. He loved to play basketball and soccer. He enjoyed all activities involving water. He used to go bike riding or swimming almost every day during the summer with friends and family. Ziddi enjoyed watching Monday night RAW and wrestling. Ziddi moved back to Abbotsford in March, 2006. He leaves behind a dear friend, Castro, his red nose pitbull. Ziddi touched the lives of many people that he met throughout his life in different ways and will always be remembered gratefully.
Ziddi is survived by his parents Shanti and Parmjit Chatchot; his brother Bittu, sister Binnie and brother-in-law Jimmy Brar. He also leaves his maternal grandmother, Bimla Devi, of Punjab, India, and paternal grandmother Kamla Chatchot residing in Abbotsford, BC. He is also survived by his close friends and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
