Mrs. Betty Shea, late of Menno Home passed away on January 15, 2010 at the age of 87 in Abbotsford, BC. She is survived by her six sons David, Randy, Bill, Ken, Tom and Steven, ten grandchildren James, Jorgen, Michael, Pamela, Darien, Nicole, Bryce, Kelsea, Connor and Sydney, two sisters Thelma and Mimi and one brother Joe. Betty was a long-time member of the McKee House in Ladner, BC and received the Commemorative Medal for the 125th Anniversary of Canadian Federation for service and her contribution to the community. A Celebration of Betty’s life will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford with Lynda Richardson officiating. The family would like to express their gratitude and thank the caring staff at Menno Home for the loving care that Betty received.
