She was predeceased by her best friend and love of her life, Peter, and her parents Beryl and Agnes Weeks.
She is survived by her daughters Megan Little and Nicole Geissler (Kevin Burk), and by her son Scott Geissler (Christie). She is survived by 7 grandchildren: Hannah Little, Telaya Geissler, Ethan Little, Kylee Geissler, Adam Burk, Ryder Geissler, and Andrew Burk. The grandchildren were the light of her life and she would volunteer with their classrooms at school any chance she got. Cheryl is also survived by one brother, Gary Weeks (Wendy), as well as many extended family members and cherished friends.
Cheryl was born March 12, 1952 in Regina, Saskatchewan. She lived in Abbotsford and then moved to Vancouver Island, BC, living in various communities while growing up with her parents and brother. While still in high school she was working at the local ‘greasy spoon’ diner when she met the love of her life and soul mate, Peter. They married in 1971, and once Cheryl completed her degree at University of Victoria, they moved to Prince George where they began their new lives. She worked as a teacher during the day and in the evenings and weekends Cheryl and Peter worked together in the construction industry. Here they made lifelong friends and their family grew. In 1986 the family moved to Abbotsford where she has resided since. She retired from teaching in 2006 after 25 years.
Cheryl enjoyed learning, growing, and keeping busy. She was always one to say “well, what are we doing today”? There was always a project on the go, or she would create one! She loved going to the Girl Guide Camp McLanlin to work and have campfires. We are surprised there are still trees standing. She was a member of Girl Guides of Canada for 62 years.

The family will be holding a private grave-side service.
In lieu of flowers, a blood donation or the Red Cross would be greatly appreciated.
