It is with deep love and profound sadness that we announce that on July 25, 2026 Darlene Mary Wiebe passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family at Holmberg House Hospice, Abbotsford, BC. Darlene will be lovingly missed and forever remembered by her family. daughter Christine; granddaughters Haley, Angel; son Steven Wiebe; brother David Gavrilik; sister Donna Stratton (Bob), numerous beloved nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Darlene was predeceased by her infant son Peter Wiebe; father Michael Gavrilik; mother Mary Sutherland (née Rolland); Brothers Douglas Sutherland and Ted Sutherland; sister Josephine (Joy) fox; sister Leona Pedosuk; and the father of her children Roy Peter Wiebe.
A Celebration of life will take place at Immanuel Church, 2950 - Blue Jay St, Abbotsford, BC (corner of Maclure & Blue Jay) on Wednesday September 9, 2026 beginning at 1:00 pm. After the service light refreshments will be available.
For out-of-town friends and family who are unable to attend in person, the Celebration of Life will be live- streamed via YouTube – link to be provided later.
