Donna Marie (Henderson) Carson

Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother.

Donna passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025 surrounded by her family.

Donna’s journey began in Abbotsford, where she was born, and continued through her childhood in Chilliwack before returning to Abbotsford in 1958 — the community she would call home for the rest of her life. Donna spent some time as a teacher in the Abbotsford School District. was a past member of Kinette Club, Red Hat Society and volunteered as a School Crossing guard.

Donna found joy in travelling, enjoyed time spent in Yuma, and created countless memories at The Glenn.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and family. Donna will be deeply missed by her son Shaun, daughter Erin (Melissa), and daughter in law Carolyn. Her grandchildren Jessie (Tim), Kaitlin (Mike), and Lee (Nikkala) will forever hold her close in their hearts, as will her great-grandchildren Charleigh, Raylee, Leah, and Maddie, who brought her endless joy.

Donna is also lovingly remembered by her sisters Carole (John) and Margaret (Bruce), her brother & sister in law Alan and Jackie Carson, a wide circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, and cherished friends.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband Jack, brother Bob and sister-in-law Vella , parents Ellen (Grafton) Henderson and Harvey Henderson.

Donna’s life was one of kindness, strength, and unwavering love. Her memory will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A service and celebration of Donna's life will be held Thursday July 31, 2025 - 11:30AM at Henderson's Funeral Home - Abbotsford with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
