Elaine was born in Manitoba and moved to BC when she was 10 years old. She grew up in a Christian home and become a Christian at a young age. She met her first husband and had 2 sons, Patrick and Dion. Elaine did her nursing training at Royal Columbian Hospital and practiced nursing on and off through her lifetime. In her fifties, Elaine married for the second time to Kurt Rine and remained married until her passing. Family has always been a huge priority for Elaine, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren as much as possible.
