Frances J. Turtle Coleman

She is survived by her loving husband Harold and children Darlene (Bill) of Bridgewater, N.S., Gary of Abbotsford, BC and Grant (Cathy) of N. Delta, BC. She was predeceased by her mother, father and 7 of her 10 siblings. Surviving siblings are Sammy of N. Ireland, Beth (Dan) of Abbotsford, BC and James (Molly) of N. Ireland. Frances is also survived by her brother-in-law Robert (Mary) of Nanaimo, BC and by many nieces and nephews both in Canada and Great Britain, along with grandchildren Claudine and Caledon of Calgary, AB and great granddaughter Ivy of Calgary, AB. Frances will be remembered for her love of life, enjoyment of music, card games, and travel - especially to her favorite destination of Indio, California, or aboard a cruise ship heading to one of several destinations. The family sincerely thanks the doctors and nurses at Abbotsford Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their loving care and attention to both Frances and her family during her final days. In lieu of flowers, donations to B.C. Cancer Foundation or B.C. Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A memorial service honouring Frances’ life will be held on Thursday, Dec. 30 at 2:30 p.m. in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, BC.
