Gerald was predeceased by his wife Ruth and his Grandson Joey, he is survived by his two children, Dwaine and Shawna, (Mike) his granddaughter Brittany, (David) his great grandchildren, Rhett and Liv, his 2 step-grandchildren, Doug and Dennis, and the rest of his family and friends.
Gerald was born in Irricana, Alberta on March 7th,1935. He was married to Ruth (Schmidt) on Oct. 24th, 1959; they were married for 53 years, until Ruth’s passing in 2013.
Gerald living in Abbotsford from 1969 to 2024; he was an valued member of the community, he loved people and helping anyway he could. Gerald enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.
A funeral Service will be held on Saturday Nov. 2nd at 11:00 am at Henderson’s Fraser Valley Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford , BC.
