On Sunday September 20th, 2020, Jack Schouten, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of our Lord & Saviour. Jack will be deeply remembered by his loving wife, Henny, of 62 years, 3 daughters, Diana (Gary) Nierop, Barbara (Owen) Vander Hoek, Joyce (Rob) Ensing, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren plus 2 more on the way. Jack was born in the Netherlands, and served 6 years in the Royal Dutch Navy.
Jack immigrated to Canada in 1957 where he met Henny, the love of his life. Jack was predeceased by both his parents, 3 sisters, 1 brother and 1 great grandson, David Cody Ford in July 2012, and is survived by his remaining brother, Frank Schouten.
Some of Jack’s favourite things included gardening, bowling, woodworking and his strong love for his family.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at the Langley Maple Hill Hospice for their generous care & support during Jack’s final days.
A private service will be held for the family.
