James will be greatly missed by his spouse of 17 years, Magna Stangeland and her family, his children: Steve (Susie), Diane (Kristian) and Brent (Ikuko), his grandchildren: Kane, Colton, Amelia, Elizabeth, Naomi, Megumi and Kenneth, sisters: Corinne and Ellenor and previous wife of 28 years, Barbara.
James was a car mechanic for 50 years and a Fire Captain at the Willoughby, Township of Langley Fire Department.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 7:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford.
