It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Jessica May Hallman on November 4th, 2021 at the young age of 28. Born in Surrey, B.C., she spent her youth in Mission and Langley, and eventually settled in Hope two years ago. As a nature lover, Jess was in her element there. She loved all creatures great and small, and she enjoyed being surrounded by the mountains. She was a gifted student and excellent in English and Science , winning many awards over the years. She had dreams of becoming a high school science teacher. But, unfortunately, life had other plans. Jess was extremely thoughtful and had a very outgoing personality, a huge heart and a unique ability to make everyone around her feel loved and cared for. She had a fantastic sense of humour and will be remembered for her refreshing candor and quick wit as well as her contagious laughter. Her love of music was profound, and she could be found listening to music most every day. She leaves that love of music and her brilliant mind in her daughter Lorelei. Becoming a mother to her beautiful daughter, with whom she shared a deep and loving bond, was Jessica’s greatest achievement. Nothing brought her more joy than her little girl. She was a fantastic mother and deeply regretted not being able to be a full-time parent. There is so much more we’d like to share but, because of her chill nature and her desire to not want a fuss, she would feel what is written is sufficient.
Jessica's final gift to others was helping save lives with her donations of her heart, lungs, liver and both kidneys. Whom ever received her heart received the absolute best. She is our forever hero... and will remain Golden for all eternity.
Jess will be sorely missed and forever remembered by her loving daughter Lorelei Nelson, mother Diane Hallman, father David Fowlie, brothers Shaun Hallman (Dana), Blair Jordan, sisters Christina Fowlie, Jennifer Stonley, Tabatha Mahler, nieces Amber Lynn Jones, Violet Forsyth, Shaunessy Hallman, nephew Nathan Forsyth, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Jessica, we love and will miss you every second of every day. Until we meet again, rest peacefully sweetheart.
You are the sun,
I am the moon.
You are the words,
I am the tune.
Play me....
In honour of Jessica’s memory, tip a glass, play some of your favourite tunes and crank the volume.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.woodlawnfh-abbotsford.com for the Hallman family.
