It is with shattered hearts and broken dreams that we announce the passing of JoJo, aged 43, so many things to so many people. An avid reader, a lover of ancient history and ever-changing hobbies. She conquered everything she ever wanted to do, using her creative flair to bring whimsy and beauty to everyone she touched.

She best loved her roles as Wife, Daughter, Sister, niece, auntie and friend, dedicating herself to always being available to anyone who may need her. She will be deeply missed by her Wife Cat, Sisters Layla and Pam, Brother-in-law Nic, Parent Babak, Auntie Brenda, Niblings Navi, Izzy and Luna and best friend Steve.

She has been my spouse, confidant and best friend for 17 years. She was the center of all my dreams, the object of all my hopes and is now the keeper of all our memories. She loved nothing more than to exist in my presence, in deep conversation, comfortable silence, or aching with laughter. We fit more love into 17 years than most people can fit into a lifetime. She will be most remembered by me as the personification of unconditional love, and towering strength, my anchor, my world, and my soulmate. I will love you forever, JoJo, forever and ever, plus a day just to be sure. (Cat)

JoJo filled shoes that a village couldn't come close to. She was and is everything good in this world. She embodies unconditional love. Somehow she knew how to be fierce and soft all at once. The love she gave us will always remain, but there will be a missing piece to our puzzle until we meet again. (Layla)
