A native of Forest, Ontario, Joe will be greatly missed. Son of Edwin (Ted) and Helen Prout, and brother to his big sister Constance, he graduated from University of Western Ontario Business School and relocated to his beloved Abbotsford where he was top sales manager for Sunrise Toyota through the 70s, 80s and 90s before retiring in the late 2000’s.
Survived by his sister, Joe was a favourite uncle of Chris and Joe Sellors, granduncle to Chris's two sons, Jack and Teddy, and Joe's four children, Chase, Cole, Holly and Tate.
Known for his daily long walks around his neighbourhood (Mill Lake) to think and keep healthy, those who knew him will notice his absence. We didn't get to say goodbye.
