My beautiful gramma Judy ❤️I love you gramma

This was my last visit with gramma, in 2021, we had a lovely time at her house, and grampa toodled around with his walker and we talked about childhood memories and how much she loved us kids ❤️ miss you gramma, you were a class act and I will cherish our memories together forever

My name is Deb Walkland and I have known Peggy and Ron, Kerry and family for over 30 years.  In the fall of 2023 Peggy needed life changing surgery and I offered to stay with Judy (whom I had never met) so Peggy could make that happen.  I had the privilege of caring for Judy for three months mid September to mid December 2023.
From the minute I got off the plane Judy was so happy to be with me.  We had many fun times, walks on the beautiful island, sitting out back watching the wild life and boats go by and picking movies to watch together.  I love to cook and she was a joy to feed.  Given Judy's illness there were challenges and we managed to work through them with a simple hug and I love you!  Judy, Kerry, and Peggy are like my sisters from another mother!
It was just before Christmas 2023 when I had to leave to come home to my son and grandson and it was one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do.  I had grown very fond of Judy and knew her illness was progressing.
Thank you Peggy and Ron for trusting me to care for your sister.  I know how difficult it was for you to make this decision and actually have it happen.
Peggy and Ron are shining examples of the Golden Rule "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" which can be very hard to find in today's world. May we all take a page from their book.  I could never begin to do justice to the level of care and unconditional love they provided for Judy.  
I love you Judy.  Rest well, sister dear.

Now twinkles above
Look up
And see the one you love
For they are there
With others too
Shining down to comfort you.

I am so sorry that I won’t be able to attend Judy’s Celebration of Life. I will always picture her at our sing alongs… singing and dancing with the biggest smile on her face. May she now enjoy those activities with those above.. love to all ..  Xxoo

How fortunate are we to have met Judy and to have experienced her grace and light via our wonderful friendship with her sister,Peggy.   Judy’s  brightness sparked a room and when seeing her again within this past year at Peggy’s,  I felt seen and heard by a loving energy ever present within her beautiful participation in life.  

 Thank you, Judy, for being you.   
Thank you Peggy and Ron for being great bolts of strength to balance and care in times of need.

Nothing will replace our Judy. When I think of her, it's always sitting in the limo that Larry and Lois put us in for our special dinner with them in Anaheim. She was so vibrant, full of energy and lifted everyone in the room when she entered it.
I'll always hold dear the times I visited Judy in her beautiful home on the beach. The love and caring began the moment I came through the door.
I miss her and care so much about Peggy and Ron who spent the last number of years loving and caring for Judy. There's no better sister on the planet.
