Her passions were working the soil from her flowerbeds to her abundant vegetable garden to raspberries and blackberries to her fruit trees and grapes, all of which she canned or froze for later use. Once the children moved away she raised beef cattle of which she named and knew each by their name.

Time away from the farm was spent by partaking in bowling leagues, square dancing and golfing with family and friends. The children remember the family dinners and special occasions where most of the food came from the farm and she always served many desserts of which everyone had to have at least two.

At the end of her bountiful life she left the farm to live with her husband Dave at a seniors home in White Rock until her final days. She was well loved by all.

She is survived by her husband, Dave, children Kathy (Jim), Rob (Kim) and Sherry (Cliff), grandchildren Iain, Heather, Kelly (Mugdim), Rheanna (Kevin) and Amanda, and great grandchildren Michael, Ajla, Arijana, Emma, and Sedona.

A family service will be held on what would have been June and Dave's 70th wedding anniversary.
