Linda was born in the Uranium City hospital on November 25th 1961, the eldest daughter of Brian and Ray Tarry. Growing up in the Eldorado townsite alongside her two younger twin sisters as well as her two cats Patchy and Bouton she became a very independent child. Linda spent her summers swimming and later scuba diving in Beaverlodge Lake, just 2 minutes walk from the house. Her favorite pastimes were figure skating, biking, and hiking in the Enchanted Forest with the family. Linda also enjoyed babysitting, and hanging out with her friends as a young teenager.
After graduating high school, Linda moved to Regina where she attended University. From here she went into the hotel industry working at the CP Hotels and then transferred to Calgary where she became a favored contact for the CP Hotel President. After a short time Linda moved to Vancouver where she found work with Davidson & Company Accounting, it was there she met and fell in love with her husband Dan. They married in 2010 and adopted a rescue named Daisy. Dan convinced Linda to move to Abbotsford to begin their life together.
Linda was diagnosed with MS in her mid 20's but this did not stop her. She continued to lead a wonderful life with Dan until 12 years later when her illness finally overcame her and she passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 24th 2022 at the age of 60 at Menno Hospital. She will be sorely missed by her loving husband, parents and sisters, Nadine and Marilyn.
