Dear Fred and Family,
It broke our hearts to hear of Lorraine's passing.  Although it has been over 50 years since we first met, our friendship continued via annual Christmas cards and letters.  Our deepest condolences to you and your family; just know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Very sorry to hear of Lorraine's passing.  Remembering our times in Yorkton and then Regina when our children were born and the fun times together.  Fond memories of Lorraine her zest for life.  We cannot imagine how hard it is to lose your Sister, Wife, Mother and Grandmother.  We are thinking of you.

I am bereft at the thought of not seeing you again tomorrow, next week, next month. We were so close with you folks just across the cul-de-sac, and what fun we all had at Friday morning coffee.  As young wives and mothers we took care of all our world's problems by a visit to your kitchen. With a a kind word, a shoulder to cry on, or a helpful hint, we could always count on your words or a hug to make it feel okay. We always knew that the coffee pot was on and that we were always welcome! Our lives seem to have taken meandering paths since those early days; with your children growing up and ours becoming adults too, but when we got together again it was comfortable; just like we had seen each other last week. 
I know you had some health issues the last time we spoke but you didn't really want to talk about them. You would rather brag about your delightful, beautiful, & smart grandchildren than talk about yourself. 
I will miss you terribly and my most sincere condolences go out to your family who will be spending a holiday without your guiding hand.

My deepest condolences at the loss of your wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Lorraine was one of my dearest friends and I will never forget all her kindnesses. She was one in a million and my heart is very heavy at her loss. Our "Big 13" Group will never be the same without her but I am so thankful that we were able to share time together in Tacoma this past August/September long weekend. I am so fortunate to be able to call Lorraine as a best friend, and she was, one of the best ever friend. It was such a special time and Lorraine made it even more special with the unique things she did. God Bless you all. I know Lorraine is in God's loving arms and looking down on us with a smile. Please try to enjoy your Christmas with your special "Grandma" in your hearts. Love you all. Hope to see you in the New Year.

I have fond memories of Lorraine growing up as she lived across the street from my family.Lorraine and Mavis spent a lot of time with us.She will be missed very much by her family.
