Lota married Bill Whitford and lived in a variety of places throughout their long marriage, first in North Vancouver, followed by St. Albert, Alberta, and finally settling in White Rock, BC. Lota and Bill enjoyed traveling, exploring Portugal, Morocco, Greece, and many other destinations throughout North America and Europe.
Lota spent her final years in the care of the wonderful staff at Mayfair Senior Living where she particularly looked forward to Bingo activities and exercise classes. She had an excellent sense of humor and a keen curiosity for current affairs.
Lota was predeceased by her husband Bill in 2007.
