It is with deep love and profound sadness that we announce that on Sept 8, 2026 Nora Stroyan passed away at Good Samaritan Deltaview Care Home in Delta, BC. The family extends their thanks for the many kindnesses and care provided there.
Nora will be lovingly missed and forever remembered by her family: her children: David (Wendy), Douglas (Leah), Margaret (David Swartz), Derek (Kami), 9 Grandchildren: Christine (Ed Ardito), Greg (Leah), Aurora, Natasha, Jesse, David, Lee (Stephanie), Angel (Rob), Michael (Laura) and 9 Great Grandchildren: Danielle, Derek, Joelle, Angeline, Dayton, Natalia, Hunter, Austin, Harrison.
A Celebration of life will take place at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, 2010 Guildford Drive, Abbotsford, BC on Monday October 19, 2026, beginning at 10 a.m. Coffee & Tea to follow.
Interment will take place at 1:30 p.m. for both Nora and her husband Hugh at Hazelmere Cemetery, 19184 16 Ave, Surrey, BC V3S 9V2.
