Matilde Vieira do Carmo Carrao May 7, 1926 - April 13, 2018 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Matilde, born in Lisboa, Portugal. She was predeceased in 1992 by her loving husband, Jose. Matilde leaves to mourn her children Rui (Rita), Janet (Steve) and Vic (Teresa); her grandchildren Darrin (Tanya), Rob, Steven (Stephanie), Christopher (Natalie), Jennifer, Suzanne, Nicole (Chaz), Deanna (Mike), 13 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson and many, many friends. The family would like to thank the caring staff of Abbotsford Hospital during her brief stay.
Prayers will be held Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 7 p.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated Monday, April 23, 2018, at 11 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, 33333 Mayfair, Abbotsford. Interment will take place at the Gardens of Gethsemani on Tuesday, May 1, 2018.
