Born in Northern Ireland, Muriel lived a life marked by strength, resilience, a strong Christian faith, and an enduring devotion to her family. Her faith remained an important source of comfort and hope throughout her life, particularly through times of profound loss.
Muriel was predeceased by her beloved husband, Alan, and her son, Jonathan. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Wendy (Tom) and Amanda; her daughter-in-law, Jodie; her grandchildren, Keith (Erin), Elicia (Jeff), Troy (Danielle), Kaelyn (Sam), Nathan and Shyla; and her great-grandchildren, Victoria and Owen.
Muriel enjoyed knitting, her iPad, trips to Tim Hortons and having a good laugh. She treasured time spent with her family and friends and had a particularly special place in her heart for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Muriel will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. Her love, her strength, her faith and her smile will remain in the hearts of her family and all who loved her.
A celebration of her life will be held in the coming weeks.
