Born on January 1st, 1951, in Iran, Mom lived a life filled with love, laughter, and generosity. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome, whether it was through her warm smile, her beautiful laughter, her thoughtful words, or the comfort of a home-cooked meal. She was happiest when surrounded by family and friends, and she poured her heart into creating traditions and memories that will be cherished for generations by her sons, granddaughters, and daughter-in laws.
First and foremost, she was a devout Baha’i’. She is survived by her sons Ashkan & Aryan, Siblings Shahla and Tahereh, Grandchildren Ayanna and Aleea and Daughters-in-law Kelsey and Carla, who will carry her love with them always.
A funeral service will be held on September 19th at 11:30am at Henderson’s Fraser Valley Funeral Home and Burial at 1:00pm at Hazelwood Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the beautiful life she lived.
Our family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the palliative care team of Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre and the Baha’i’ Community for their incredible support during this difficult time. The family of Shahnaz Golshan invites you to contribute photos and videos for meaningful keepsakes, including movies, stationery and memory books using the following link: https://connect.dignitymemorial.com/12518296/home
