Angel Rivera Moreno

Graveside services with military honors for Angel Rivera Moreno will be at 12:00 P.M., Monday, March 14, 2016, at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene, 7457 W. Lake Road, Abilene, Texas, under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory Street, Abilene, Texas.

Angel was born in Abilene on February 4, 1947, to Frank and Tomasa Rivera Moreno. He attended Abilene High School and Cisco College. He also served in the United States Army. Angel had various occupations throughout his life, including food service vendor at Fort Hood, Texas and also worked as a gun broker.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Moreno, Sr.; his mother, Tomasa Moreno; and his brother, Frank Moreno, Jr.

He is survived by his brother, Eleno Moreno and wife Dot of Conroe, Texas; his nephew, Frank Moreno III of Baytown, Texas; his niece Veronica Maciel and husband Tony, and their children, Alyssa and Jacob Maciel of Killeen, Texas.
