Brian Henry Lamb

Brian was born to Doris and Huie Lamb, Jr. on May 5, 1964, in Austin, Texas. He passed away Thursday night, August 27, 2015 at his home in Abilene, TX after a fall. He is survived by his parents, Doris and Huie of Austin; his sisters, Denise Lamb Pegoda and husband Gary of Lake Jackson, TX, Susan Lamb of Austin, TX, (a sister, Claudia Lamb VanOs preceded him in death in 2010); a brother, Gary John Lamb and wife Teresa of Brownwood, TX; a brother-in-law, Louis VanOs of Vancleave, MS; nieces, nephews, and cousins. He also leaves many friends in Austin and Abilene. He was an avid Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys fan. He never met a stranger. Graveside services will be held in Abilene on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Elmwood Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to their favorite charity. Services are being conducted by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St., Abilene.
